Councilman Santino, Receiver of Taxes Clavin to Host Joint Town Hall Meeting for Five Towns Residents on March 4

Hempstead Town Senior Councilman Anthony Santino and Receiver of Taxes Don Clavin will host a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library. All residents of the Five Towns, along with any interested persons, are invited to attend this meeting. Santino and Clavin will answer questions pertaining to town government, community events, property tax assessments, storm recovery and other important issues.

“Town Hall Meetings are very important in helping government identify and serve the needs of the people,” said Councilman Santino. “I urge all residents of the Five Towns to attend this informative meeting.”

“I am proud to partner with Councilman Santino at the March 4th Town Hall Meeting with Five Towns neighbors,” added Clavin. “We are confident that neighbors will benefit from the many topics addressed during this public forum.”

Town Hall meetings offer an excellent opportunity for residents to discuss various issues in their communities. Whether a neighbor has a question about recreational programs, road projects, public safety or other topics, town officials will be present to provide answers. What’s more, Santino and Clavin will talk about town-led projects of interest with our neighbors who live in the Five Towns.

The Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library is located at 1125 Broadway in Hewlett.
